Review Processes

The School of Medicine has three review processes; One for departments (five year departmental review) and two for faculty and academic staff (annual review and selective salary).

Annual Review

The Annual Review process is for faculty members and academic staff on term appointments and is intended to provide feedback to mentor faculty and academic staff members.

Departmental Five Year Review

The purpose of the departmental review is to assess departmental progress over the preceding five years and to set a direction for the next five years that will enhance the department's ability to meet its academic and service missions.

Selective Salary

The selective salary program is the AAUP contract mandated process for the recommending of merit increases, over and above the across the board cost of living increase that may be given.
