Policies & Procedures

Wayne State University has three sources of policy: The Wayne State University Code Annotated or WSUCA set by the Board of Governors; University Policies issued by the president and the Administrative Policy and Procedure Manual (APPM), the official compilation of the university's administrative policies and procedures. In addition the AAUP-AFT contract determines many procedures pertaining to represented faculty and academic staff at WSU.

The School of Medicine (SOM) also has policies, noted by the letters "SOM" below, which supplement those of the University. Should a change in a University policy result in a conflict with a SOM policy, the University policy would take precedent over the SOM policy.
